As the Executive Director of the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce, I want to extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this year’s Fourth of July celebration a resounding success. The festivities began with a stirring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner performed by the talented Choral Society, setting a patriotic tone for the day. The parade, filled with creative floats and enthusiastic participants, brought the community together in a vibrant display of local spirit and pride.
Our celebration would not have been possible without the dedication of countless volunteers, generous sponsors, and the support of local businesses. Special thanks go to the Town of Friday Harbor, the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Fire Department for ensuring a safe and enjoyable event for all. The Chamber is deeply appreciative of everyone who contributed their time, resources, and energy to make this Independence Day memorable for our island community.
